The Nightmare Before Christmas, a Sequel to the hugely successful first Nightmare movie. Directed by Kevin Lima and written by Bradley Buecker and John Musker, this movie features the return of Jake Epping as Scrooge McDuck and Jessica Hynes as Mary Margaret. Jessica Hynes also reprises her role from the original movie in this sequel.

Although some reviewers give The Nightmare Before Christmas a disappointing rating for its story and characters, the flick's quality remains largely intact. The storyline is very exciting and entertaining, with plenty of surprises and jumps of excitement.

Many scenes involve Mary Margaret as she tries to find answers about the events of the past and present, as well as meeting a number of new characters. The plot also involves the discovery of the seven Dwarfs, but it can easily be summed up as "more of the same" for those who have seen the original. The movie does have a certain amount of sequel-ishness in that it brings back Gremlin, Reepicheep, and Hippogriff.

Unlike the original movie, the sequel is considerably more mature than what it started out as. While there is still plenty of slapstick humor throughout, The Nightmare Before Christmas is definitely not intended for kids. It is not so risque that younger children will be turned off by it, but it is definitely an adult movie. There are also many scenes in this movie that are very reminiscent of the original movie, including the entire beginning (which was viewed at the same time as the original).

The Nightmare Before Christmas is certainly not a true sequel to the first movie. It does not follow the same storyline or even share much in common with it. As such, this movie is of great interest to fans of the original and those who enjoyed the first movie. However, it should be noted that even with the sequel, it is still not quite as good as the first.

The Film Score for The Nightmare Before Christmas is by Oscar-winning composer Danny Elfman. His score manages to capture the heart and soul of the first movie, while at the same time creating an entirely new and original sound for the sequel.

This movie is also rated PG-13. This rating means that it has a lot of adult content and it is definitely not recommended for children under the age of 17.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is an entertaining movie, but only if you are familiar with the first movie. For fans of the first movie, it's definitely worth a watch. However, it's definitely not the film to watch if you're looking for an instant laugh.
