Maleficent, who loves Queen Aurora as a daughter, tells her to ask him not to marry that prince because his love won't last long; but she doesn't listen to her. The presentation of the bride before the parents of the groom, King John, and Queen Ingrid, is during an elegant dinner in the palace; Aurora asks Maleficent to attend as her mother figure, and she has no choice but to please her, so she sits next to him.
But things become uncomfortable when Queen Ingrid begins to tell how Maleficent launched a curse on Queen Aurora long before her birth, and how she was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of humans thanks to her creatures and their confrontations.
Maleficent no longer tolerates Ingrid's insolence, but this gives the final thrust when you shout that Aurora will again have a real royal family and not a group of strange creatures; Maleficent's fury was swift and immediately showed his powers and cast a spell of eternal sleep to King John.
Queen Ingrid immediately calls the guards, who were already alert, Malefice flees through the palace window, but one of the archers manages to hurt her and falls into the sea; half dead is rescued by a strange winged creature, who puts her safe from the Royal Guard.
Upon awakening and disoriented without knowing where she is, Maleficent realizes that around her there is only Dark Feys; all equal to her, perhaps more or less powerful; its leader Conall, who rescued her from the dangerous waters of the ocean, presents her in front of other creatures of the same species, who live in exile thanks to the battles against humans.
Conall tells him that the only way to end this absurd hunt and prevent Aurora from marrying Prince Philip and ending under the yoke of his mother Queen Ingrid, is to command creatures and fairies and Moors; with no other option, he accepts in order to save his dear Aurora.
Upon returning to the land of the Moors, it is noted that the soldiers of the evil Queen Ingrid have sown hundreds of hectares with fairy flowers which only grow in their graves; these particular silvers emit a pollen that, when making contact with iron, forms a lethal mixture for fairies which turns them into inanimate beings.
The Queen plans to use this mixture to place it on her arrows and swords and thus end once and for all with all magical creatures. Maleficent faces an unprecedented rival, and in the middle is her dear Aurora.
