Synopsis

A Quiet Place Part I (also known as The Exorcism of Emily Rose) is a brilliant film directed by David Fincher and starring Jennifer Aniston, Tim Burton, and Bill Murray. I'm not going to lie to you, I saw this movie on the first try of the day that it came out. I hadn't really seen much of either Tim Burton or Jennifer Aniston before this movie, so I went in with the thought that maybe they would be great together and this movie could be their greatest ever. Well, both these stars deliver and make The Exorcism of Emily Rose an awesome and entertaining movie. The movie opens up with Jessica Alba's character locked away in a psychiatric unit after her husband kills himself. After several disturbing events occur, including the death of a babysitter, a priest, and a student, the police are called in to investigate.

As the second part of the movie progresses, we find out more about what really happened that lead to Jessica's separation from husband and how those events led to her becoming a recluse. The whole movie was shot in a very small studio with very little actual sets or props, but the actors and actresses did a fantastic job. There was no other movie I saw that week that was as terrifying and suspenseful as The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Beca quiet (2021) eCourier has become another very well known name in modern horror and I can't wait to see their next movie. With an all star cast that includes Bill Murray, Tim Burton, Jennifer Aniston, and Charlie Sheen, it is hard to imagine any type of script that won't appeal to most viewers. The trailer for The Exorcism of Emily Rose gave me chills and I can only imagine how great the full movie will be once it hits the theaters. In fact, I have seen the movie several times and every time I do I am left craving the full experience.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose continues the same tale as the first part two: a young woman is home alone after her mother is brutally murdered. When she returns home, she sees her father dead upon the bed and her mother has made the gruesome sacrifice to appease a monster. Now, Evelyn must unravel the secret behind her mother's murder and use her knowledge to hunt the killer and save the day once and for all. I have been very impressed with the acting and special effects in the trailers and I can't wait to see what John Doe does and how the director pulls it off. I am also looking forward to see how Beca talks to the unseen spirit.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose is set to be released on June 24th, followed up by the second part of the film on July 7th. If you haven't read the book then you definitely need to get to it before it drops to make room for the third and final installment. For those who have read the book, I can tell you that the pacing is slow and the story's many mysteries and unanswered questions are designed to keep the reader interested long after the ending has been mapped out. The streaming of the film will likely come at the end of June and will provide fans a teaser of what to expect.

Based on the bestselling novel by Emily Graswicky, A Quiet Place Part II looks to be an exciting psychological thriller that won't disappoint those looking for a supernatural thriller with a bit more of the mystery and horror. As someone who has read the first book, I can say that while there were some parts that were a bit slow, I loved the overall plot and story line. I am excited to see where Graswicky takes the story and how she covers the many topics she does in this sequel. I look forward to the streaming of A Quiet Place Part II and hope that Graswicky continues to write new books in the series.
