This summer, a new animated feature film called Monster Pets: A Hotel Tale will hit theaters. The film is directed by Greg Garcia, who is also the director of the last film featuring the voice of Tim Burton, Alice in Wonderland. This animated picture features the previously released "FurReal" feline figures. We want to take a look at the movie and give you some information on the different aspects that we can expect to see in this latest release from Disney.
The premise of the movie centers on a family vacation to an exciting hotel. Along the way, the main characters meet and begin to form a relationship with six new characters. One of the main characters is thegenndy tartakovsky, who is voiced by the very talented John Ratzenberger. Some of the other voice talents include Crispin Glover, Kate Capshaw, Meg Ryan, Christopher Masterson, and Debra Messing.
After the short film, the fate of the human family, along with the friendship of the lovable monster-sized puppy has more energy than ever.
As of this writing, it looks as if the movie, due to its popularity, may go straight to video on the video market. While there is no concrete information regarding this, it is a very safe assumption that the makers of the movie are gearing up for the next release, Monster Pets: A Hotel Transylvania, to be shown exclusively on June 13th. If this is the case, then it will most likely be showing in all five of the major large-scale theatres across the United States, as well as some select multiplexes around the world. For fans of the franchise, it would be a great way to catch up with the latest installment, before it fades into obscurity again.
If the film features voice work from some of the well-known stars from the previous films in the series, then it will be even more popular. One of the many stars of the series, voices such as Crispin Freeman, Jack Nicholson, and Michael Caine, return for the latest release. These voice actors play opposite-voice parts to the lovable monsters we see in the series. The plot centers on a newly constructed hotel, where a number of strange pet owners have left their pets inside. These pet owners have been transformed into powerful monsters by unknown means, and it falls to three unlikely heroes to save the animals from the clutches of the evil Dr. Frankenstein.
Directed by none other than Tim Burton, the movie definitely makes the best out of its short runtime. Monster Pets: A Hotel Transylvania Short Film is filled with charming one-liners, and effective special effects. Some of the pet monsters are so lifelike, that they begin to move around the screen as the audience enters the theatre. The short film, which runs just over an hour long, may seem like a drab short film but it is anything but that. With superb special effects and a fast-paced pace, the movie certainly manages to maintain the interest level of its audience throughout.
If you enjoy watching Tim Burton movies, then you are sure to love this latest release of his popular Monster Pets franchise. Fans of the previous installments would especially love it, as it features all the best parts of the previous films. If you happen to be a fan of the series, then owning a plush dollhouse is definitely something that you should consider, since you will have the opportunity to adopt a pet from the movie. So, if you are in search of a brand new and exciting concept for your child's bedroom, go ahead and look out for the Monster Pets: A Hotel Transylvania Short Film.
